We have moved to Marco Island full time on Feb 1, 2019. We have owned property here since 2009, and own a home at 288 N. Barfield now. We owned a heavy highway construction company in Bettendorf Iowa for 35 years and just sold it to our 2 sons, and are retiring. We have boated for all 47 years of our marriage and lived the last 32 years directly on the Mississippi River where we raised our 3 children. During that time, we have owned over 10 boats from sail boats and jet skis to cabin cruisers and still have a runabout in Iowa. We own a small Whaler here in Florida which we just bought to teach our grandsons to boat, and a 28′ Formula both of which are parked on the canal at our home.
