On April 10th forty-seven top mini golfers from all over Marco Island arrived at the home of John and Dianne Kernan ready to battle for the title of 2015 Marco Bay Yacht Club Mini Golf Champion. The group first fortified themselves with a many course dinner including appetizers, pulled pork, chicken, a variety of deserts, plus substantial liquid “refreshment.” Every head was also scratched dealing with a demanding trivia quiz authored by Jaunita Henning. Then a dozen teams were dispatched to the Marco Golf and Garden where Rear Commodore Bob Boland held off all challengers with an amazing score of 38 to win the 2015 Championship.
