Wahoo’s Day Cruise

Small boat cruisers enjoyed perfect weather for their January 12 run up to the Wahoo Bar and Grille in Naples at Walkers Marine, known by many MBYC members as the former Jacks.

Eighteen boaters on six crafts, Lil Wanderer,  Alley Oop, Shoel, Olivia Leigh and Marcia Ann, traveled Marco River north led by Sally and Don Orth on Princess II. Organizers Bob and Lynn Tuttle cruised to the party early to check on festivities. Betty Barter managed the fun and fabulous Reverse Bingo won by Commodore Bob Boland. Boaters were joined by twenty four members and guests arriving by car.

The beautiful Flying Bridge room at Wahoo’s framed an ideal setting for conversation and comradery. The afternoon provided delicious choices of luncheons and a cash bar. Lunch choices were Caesar Salad with choice of grilled shrimp or grilled chicken, Fish and Chips Basket, Chicken or Vegetarian Quesadilla or a Wahoo Burger and Fries.
