Celebrating our 50th Year With 50 Shades of Fun

The Orsolinis and the Hardy’s kicked off the Fall Day Boating season with a “50 Shades of Fun” picnic at Cape Romano. Thirty two members were able to fire up their boat motors and get out on the water for this fun event. We had nine boats lining the abundant sandy shoreline. There were hot dogs, brats with sauerkraut, chips, watermelon, fresh veggies and dip, roll up sandwiches and plenty of cookies. Thanks go to Marianne and Frank Mulligan for their additions to the picnic fare. There were games to play, too much food, sweaty hugs, and happy faces all around. The only thing we didn’t have enough of was shade and we couldn’t jump in the water to cool off because of reports of high bacteria levels in the water.

We want to thank all those that pitched in to assist in some way. We have such a wonderful group of active members who love to “BOAT AND PLAY WITH MARCO BAY”
