On March 1, 2023, 9 boats and 57 people descended upon Paradise Found for the Marco Bay Yacht Club “almost annual” Circumnavigation and Luncheon.

It was a spectacular day! Sunny & warm, reasonably calm water and a high tide. Perfect!

Led by incoming Day Fleet Captain, Steve Stark, boaters in the southern group met at the Caxambas Marina and made their way into the gulf, meeting the northern group near the Jolly bridge.

On to Paradise Found where the food was great, the hospitality gracious, and the drinks were plentiful. Club attendees ate 32 grouper sandwiches, which I am told is some kind of record.

After lunch, 4 die-hard boats completed the circumnavigation.

Thanks to Steve and Commodore Linda Gagnon, who stepped in during my COVID induced absence.

A great time as always with MBYC.
