Past Events 2014

On Thursday October 16 several boats joined later by others gathered at Naples Bay Marina to explore Naples for a few days before heading off to Legacy Marina.  On Friday October 17 the cruisers and many other MBYC members joined the excursion for lunch at The Bonefish Grill in Naples.  54 in all enjoyed a great lunch at Bonefish and the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day together.  This luncheon is becoming a tradition to kick off the boating season allowing large and small boaters to enjoy each others company and kick off a new season of fun on the water.

 It’s been a long hot summer on Marco for our year around club members.  As summer winds down and fall approaches, the prospect of cold weather and that white stuff falling, stirs our anticipation of the return of our Northern friends.  This past week we were down to six members for our Thursday breakfast at the Sand Bar.  Joe Doggett and Alex Orsolini skipped out to take their wives on a 17 day trip to England, Scotland and Wales.  Needless to say we’ve missed them the last couple of weeks.  Some I believe were just a bit envious. Needless to say we’re eagerly anticipating the return of our northern members.  So hurry back on back!!!
